2022-23 SLEQ-TPG KEY FINDINGS
As an annual survey, the Student Learning Experience Questionnaire – Taught Postgraduate (SLEQ-TPG) contributes to the support of teaching and learning at the University by offering evidence-based insights for quality assurance and enhancement. Inviting all taught postgraduate students in their final year of study, the 2022-23 SLEQ-TPG witnessed responses from a total of 4517 students.
Highlights of findings
- Students have consistently rated Attainment of University Educational Aims, Teaching and Learning Environment, and Overall Satisfaction above four, from the 2020-21 administration onwards (Figure 1).
- Students perceived Teacher-student Relationships the most highly among all aspects, followed by Intellectual Inquiry and Personal and Professional Ethics.
- Frequently mentioned concepts as the best aspects of the TPG experience included “programme”, “professor” and “knowledge” (Figure 2).
Detailed results at the institutional, Faculty, and curriculum levels are made available to Faculties to support the review and enhancement of their teaching and learning processes. Please refer to the information
